  1. Complete Feedback Form: We've noticed that while we have a large and engaged group of participants, only a limited number of teams have submitted their models so far. We understand that there can be many reasons for this, and we want to ensure that everyone has a positive and rewarding experience. To help us better understand your experience, please complete this short feedback form.
  2. Submit Your Models: From now on, please submit your model to the public leaderboard for both Phase 1.1 and 1.2! The challenge is coming to a close, and we're eager to see the innovative solutions you've developed. Moreover, sharing your results is an essential and valuable part of the Challenge since you can learn from the leaderboard and receive feedback.
  3. Final Score Computation: As you know, recently we introduced a new task in Phase 1.2 to further challenge your models. To clarify the weighting scheme, this new dataset will account for 80% of the final score, while the original dataset will contribute 20%.
  4. Altitude Corrections: We’ve corrected the altitude values in the Phase 1.2 dataset, they were mistakenly provided in kilometers, unlike Phase 1.1 where they were in meters. Now, all values are consistently in meters. Please ignore the column name "Altitude (km)", the values are in meters despite the label. We’ve kept the name unchanged to avoid breaking existing submissions.

A: Yes, the final submissions will be evaluated using both the public datasets (the same ones participants are currently using to evaluate their models) and a private dataset, similar to last year’s evaluation.

Q: Can you give some information about the private dataset?
A: No, we won’t provide any details about the private dataset, only how the final score will be computed.

Q: Does the leaderboard show the best scores for each dataset using the same model, or does it use the best-performing models per dataset?
A: The leaderboard shows the best public weighted score for a single model. It does not display the best score for each dataset regardless of whether they come from the same model. Keep in mind, as mentioned, that the selected model should be capable of adapting to any new data it receives.

Q: Which model will be used to evaluate participants in the next phase? What if we want to use a different model, one that performs slightly worse but is less overfitted?
A: In that case, you have two options. (1) If the less overfitted model performs close to the best one, you can simply delete the best model submission before the deadline to ensure the other one is selected, and (2) if the performance difference is significant but you still prefer the alternative model, email us with the submission ID of the preferred model. Just make sure it has been evaluated in both phases.
